Filled with endless intrigue, incredible rock formations, unbelievable dark skies, and breath-taking landscapes, Utah is a place that now holds my heart too. I've long had a strange relationship with the "desert", I've never much liked the heat and the endless dry rocky expanses often felt overwhelming in the past. But after a few trips in the past two years,  most recently for a 10 day camping trip throughout the southern part of the state, I have truly come to love it. It is such a distinctly unique state as it feels like every 10 miles holds a new landscape. It is truly incredible. Now I cannot wait to visit my nearest neighbor again and see what it holds next.
